Luxury Beach Villas for Rent, Costa Rica Vacation Rentals

Guest book

Of the 3 places we stayed at during our recent Costa Rica trip, our Villa by Tekoa was the best–excellent coastal views, rainforest just outside the many windows and high quality construction. Our tastefully appointed villa was a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath complete with a full kitchen, laundry and private swimming pool. Everything was spotless and in good working order (well, almost everything–more on that later)…. The AC worked perfectly and the ceiling fans in every room were a definite plus.

Our 2 young boys loved the swimming pool. As another reviewer mentioned, the pool is a bit small, but for our needs, it was fine… Plus, it was nice to cool off after a day of hiking and zip lining!

Location is great…..Dominical town is only 5 minutes away. Alex, our very friendly concierge, was very helpful in giving us advice on what to do in the area.

My family and I want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Solo Bueno. We relaxed at the villa, experienced some of the beautiful sites of Costa Rica, and enjoyed meeting the lovely people.

We would also like to send you a check for the loss of one of your water fins. Unfortunately, it somehow floated out of my bag while swimming in the cove. If you could please send your address we will send that along.

Alexandre was very helpful from beginning to end and was there only when we needed him. As you know, this was our first visit to Costa Rica and his assistance was reassuring.

We all want to return to the beautiful Solo Bueno to relax and recharge in your paradise in paradise.

Every good wish,

341871 – Beautiful Tropical Contemporary Villa – Ocean View
My fiance and I along with another couple stayed in this villa for 4 nights in April. We are late 20’s, early 30s.The villa is up a windy road with few other villas around (a 4X4 vehicle is a must!). The villa has an incredible view of the lush mountainside that the villa sits high up on, as well as the distant ocean view. The villa itself was very modern and clean. It had everything that you would come to expect from this calibur of a villa – ice cold air conditioning, Flat screen TVs along with a DVD collection of around 500+, as well as a wrap around balcony for the master bedroom leading to a very large top floor, outdoor patio with daybed. When you stay here you will be living far more comfortably than the vast majority of residents in Uvita and surrounding area

we spend 4 nights Villa Tres Ninas and enjoy it very much
My sister in law stared here days at 530 am in the morning watch and listen to the nature, my youngers enjoyed the pool and the pretense of the house& of course being wired to the still existing rest of the world. We all had an outstanding time, and we are sad about not having booked the house for a longer stay.
it was worth to travel over from bavarian Germany! thank you so much…

The house was a great house for our group – plenty of space, rooms were great, each with their own bathroom and AC. The balcony had an awesome view of the ocean and pool was perfect. The open kitchen was really nice and had everything we needed. The photos make the property look nice, but much better and roomier in person.

The house was close to the town of Uvita, up a long hill and felt secluded and safe. It was a good jumping off point for different activities. On the advice of the concierge made sure to lock the maze of doors when we weren’t there.

Speaking of the concierge, this was an added bonus that we weren’t aware of when booking the house! He was helpful in giving directions, information and advice on local activities & restaurants and helping in the booking process.

We just returned from an amazing 6 night stay at Casa Serendipia & wished we had another week! The only difficulty we had was deciding which of the 3 great bedrooms to stay in! All had amazing views and perfect baths (only one has a king though). The kitchen has been completely redone and was beautiful – photos below are outdated. The living area was very comfortable and we watched movies on the big screen TV. They have a great DVD collection there.

We had a problem with an A/C leak and both Howard (long distance) and our house concierge, Alex, responded immediately and fixed the problem.

Prior to arrival, Alex planned wonderful activities for us. My husband and I took our 18 & 19 year old boys to Dominical for an adventure & we had one every day! Surfing and class 4 rafting on the Cotobrus River with Dominical Surf Adventures, ATV with Karl @ Diamante and horse back riding to the Nauyaca waterfalls.

Loved coming back everyday to the villa to sit by the infinity pool

Great location and incredible view. The villa is well maintained and appointed. It was great having maid service too! We appreciated all the tips and correspondence Catherine sent prior to our stay. Alex, the concierge, was helpful In arranging a surf lesson as well as a rafting trip for us. Our favorite excursion though was canyoning with Costa Canyoning. The guides, especially Carlos, were fantastic! We even arranged a private surf lesson with Carlos who we spent a day with checking out different beaches, restaurants and waterfalls.

We stayed for a week in the flying monkey villa to celebrate our honeymoon. It was an amazing experience from the time we arrived until we left. The concierge set up the villa with beautiful red roses and candles the night that we arrived…very romantic and set a romantic tone for our entire honeymoon week. He also sent us a grocery shopping list and stocked the fridge for us…including a wonderful bottle of wine. The views from the villa across the rainforest and out across the ocean were amazing. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee out on the deck or under the palapa each morning. Each day the concierge had arranged excursions of our choice…we loved zip lining in Osa, the ATV excursion, and the couples massage and private chef in the villa. We also did a lot of self guided exploring around the villa…the waterfall on the property is gorgeous and well worth a hike to see. The community of Dominicalito and the town of dominical were very authentic Costa Rican.

This is a great home for a getaway that can be as relaxing or as adventuresome as you want! The home is definitely as-advertised; well-furnished, comfortable, with great views of the jungle and ocean – the pool is great for relaxing and cooling-off! We started our mornings on the veranda with great coffee and ended most days in the same spot with cocktails – listening to the sounds of the jungle, which change throughout the day. In between, there was fishing, snorkeling, beach-combing, boogie boarding and whatever else sounded like fun! The owner is extremely accommodating and helpful – available to answer every question you may have before you get to Dominical; and once you’re there, you have a concierge available to give great suggestions based upon whatever activities you are interested in! A great vacation spot – a great home – a great owner! You won’t be disappointed (but definitely rent a 4WD)!

We had an excellent stay at Canto Del Mar! The location was wonderful as well as the villa! Alex helped plan our excursions and provided great restaurants for us to try. Villa was very clean and the view was beautiful! We hope to return.

A Little Piece of Paradise!
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
If you are looking for low-key rest and relaxation in an unbelievably gorgeous setting, Villa Solo Bueno is your paradise! We had such an amazing time, we are returning in January. The photos do not do the villa justice! It is absolutely as well-maintained, well equipped, and beautiful as advertised. We worked with Catherine to secure our reservation and she was wonderful! She gave us activity and restaurant tips which did not disappoint! You must have at least one dinner at Por Que No. Delicious food, great service, and a beautiful view made it our favorite. One thing to note about Dominical in general, accommodations are not beach front. This particular villa has a sweeping view of the Pacific and is about a 10 minute walk down to the beach. The road up to the villa is steep and unpaved so 4-wheel drive is a must (as it is in a lot of Costa Rica). Best wishes to you for fabulous stay at Villa Solo Bueno. Pura Vida!

Alex with amazing! The concierge did everything from doing our shopping, to booking every single activity possible. The view was spectacular, and to be honest the Villa was amazing, but no comparison to what the locals had to offer. their hospitality, was just truly unbelievable. Stop and ask, and you will be answered. If you only speak English, stop at one of the many bars or shops on the side of the road. GPS can be a bit tricky, if you are shy, don’t go to Costa Rica!! lol Or just go with someone who is willing to ask questions.

Settled back in to STL a little bit – and thank goodness its sunny and actually 82 here today! Go figure….

As I shared previously, your home is awesome, so well done and appointed, everyone in the group raved (and we are a hard to please group, trust me). We lived in the pool, had a chef for a couple of nights, cooked in, ate out, fished, rafted, hiked – all the things one should do in the south of CR, and very little complaints on anything other than possibly being over-served.

Alex did a great job although a little scattered from time to time, but most of that was probably us calling him up asking for rafting or other reservations 30 minutes ahead of when we wanted them! But hey, isn’t that what a concierge is there for? By the way, don’t know if you have used him, but we had Chef Ranier cook two nights at the house and outstanding meals and presentations, and a great, easy-to-get-along-with personality. Highly recommended. One of the couples is actually looking

Gwynne and I and our family of 6 just wanted to say how pleased we were with our trip to Costa Rica. YOUR place is truly outstanding! Simply beautiful – wonderful views (we enjoyed the sunsets and dusk), a perfect pool that we used daily, secure, so well appointed – and the stars at night…oh, my…I don’t remember when we saw something like that. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your place!. We felt honored and we made some very nice comments in the guest book on the villa, the tours and the people.

As for the ‘people’; Costa Rica can offer others in the world a lesson on customer service. Everywhere we went, we were all impressed. The naturalist at Manuel Antonio park, Henry and Carlos at the kayak tours (offered a session without regard to time and all they wanted to do was please!), our cooks – Wilbur, Anna and Fabian were all gracious, fun to be with, interactive and great at what they do, and, RAUL.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you for sharing your incredible home with us. As promised, it was amazing and we had a terrific time.

Also, all of the staff was terrific, but the savior of our trip was definitely Raul. He could not have been more helpful. He literally
helped us a hundred of times a day, from excursions to massages to food and liquor to bandages for our injured companion. He visited the house in person multiple times a day, lead us to the excursions, and made sure everything was just right. And, Raul did not just handle things once we got there, but he made us feel at ease before we arrived (transportation
to the house and rental car drop off at the house) and after we left (handling the drop off of the cars when the company failed to pick them up on time). I highly recommend him for future guests.
Again, thank you for everything and do not be surprised if you hear from us again. The entire group had the perfect week.

Hi !
First of all I wanted to say your home is absolutely phenomenal! We have loved our stay and this view from the pool is even better than we imagined.
No worries on the AC! It was replaced yesterday and is working great. We were impressed with the promptness in which that was resolved, Alex has been really great to us. I can imagine those units work overtime down here, we have been turning it off when we go out.

Great family trip at Casa Serendipia! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Every morning our family awoke to a glorious 180 deg view of the blue Pacific ocean. The home was very well equipped, comfortable and had pretty much every amenity you could ask for. The infinity pool provided a wonderful respite at the end of the day to relax and watch the sunsets – which were fabulous every day we were there. Casa Serendipia works with a local rental management company to provide a concierge for your stay. We worked with Raul, who pre-shopped for us allowing us to arrive with provisions already in the refrigerator and cocktails ready to be made! He also introduced us to a local chef who prepared 2 wonderful meals during our stay – truly magnificent and well recommended. Dominical has a lot to offer and the home is centrally located to get wherever you need to go – Uvita is a short 15 mins south and Manuel Antonio about 40 mins north. Do not miss Nauayaca waterfall on your trip to Dominical….unbelievable.

Beatiful mountain Villa with breathtaking ocean view. Nature right at your front door. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The house was very spacious and beyond our expectations. We walked into the house and the first thing we saw was a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. The concierge, Alexandre was also great. Alexandre helped us to book restaurants during the busy holiday vacation week. Alex also helped us book our day trips to a zip line/nature hike at Hacienda Baru where we had a private group for our family of 4 with 2 guides. Alex also arranged our whitewater rafting (with a local snack and local lunch) and Mangrove kayaking which was booked with Dominical Surf Adventures. We also enjoyed a horseback riding mountain tour to a waterfall (also with breakfast & lunch) booked with Don Hulo’s Horseback tours. We definitely felt very safe and secure in this gated community….

Great time at Casa Serendipia
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I was very impressed by almost everything at Casa Serendipia. The house is very nice, as advertised. The bedrooms are all high quality and spacious, but the upstairs is the best. The views are great, and the living areas and kitchen are very nice. The infinity pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset. Our concierge, Raul, did a great job arranging activities, at our request, including pre-purchasing some groceries. He also arranged flowers delivered to a restaurant for an anniversary dinner. Great service.
